4 Home Improvement Projects for 2022

Most people like to invest in improving their living space, which offers several benefits; your comfort level is raised and so is the value of the property. 2. Loft conversion – This is the only improvement that increases your living space and that has a positive impact on the value. Three bedrooms plus a guest room in the attic is really 4 bedrooms and you aren’t using the loft space, so why not? If you have the DIY skills, you can save a fortune by carrying out the refit yourself, otherwise a local builder would be happy to design and quote for the project. 3. Timber deck – Rather than going to the expense of real hardwood, engineered timber looks and feels like the real thing and is much cheaper. Engineered timber comes in many grain finishes and it doesn’t rot or decay, making it ideal for tropical climate here in Thailand. The material is easy to work with and will not fade, chip or crack.
4. Build a conservatory – This enables you to blend the garden with the home and with double glazed units, the interior will remain cool for longer. There are specialist companies that design and install conservatories and you can make the most out of your living space with a glass conservatory.
